TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Pertamax and Pertalite fuel distributions are estimated to reach 30,800 kiloliter (KL) consumption or twice as much compared to the normal consumption.
Data from PT Pertamina on Saturday, July 2, showed that Pertalite’s consumption reached 14,900 or up by 208 percent from the average daily distribution of 7,150 KL. The average comsumption of Pertalite until the 11th day is around 11,130 KL per day or up by 156 percent from the average daily consumption.
Meanwhile, Pertamax’s distribution reached 15,900 KL or up by 157 percent from the average daily consumption. The distribution of Pertamax since June 21 is 12,530 KL or up by 124 percent from the average daily consumption.
Vice President of Pertamina Corporate Communication Wianda Pusponegoro said the realization of Pertamax and Pertalite has surpassed the company’s highest expectation number this year.
Wianda said this is a positive sign where people realize in using a more environmentally friendly fuel and according to their vehicles’ specifications.
“A more affordable price and access to easier products in many gas stations, including throughout homecoming routes and tourism sites, is the main reason why people choose Pertamax and Pertalite,” Wianda said Monday, July 4, 2016.
