Airplane Passenger Climbs 20%; Angkasa Pura to Provide Posts

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-PT Angkasa Pura II estimates a rise of airplane passenger at Soekarno-Hatta Airport during homecoming 2016 around 5-10 percent, and around 20-30 percent on Eid.
PT Angkasa Pura II is coordinating with Immigration Service, Customs, Police, Armed Forces, and its internal teams to anticipate any possible hindrance which would possibly hamper the public service activities. “We have been coordinating since a month ago,” PT Angkasa Pura II Director Budi Karya Sumadi said at the Jakarta Stock Exchange on Friday, July 1, 2016.
At its internal aspect, Angkasa Pura will be making posts to control stakeholders, and assign its customer service to also provide its best assist for the customers for comfortable homecoming trips.
The peak of Eid exodus has began since Tuesday, June 28, PT Angkasa Pura II estimated. However, Budi said the homecoming peak will be on July 2-3 since it is weekend.
To anticipate the surge of passengers, PT Angkasa Pura II has added up to 10 percent flight compared to the normal days at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Banten. So far, the airport provides 500 flight schedules with about 100,000 passengers per day.
Flight schedules in Soekarno-Hatta Airport from June 28 until July 5 are full.
