Ambassador Alexander Litaay Passes Away in Croatia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Indonesian Ambassador to Croatia, Alexander Litaay, passed away in Zagreb, Croatia, on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Foreign Minister, Retno L.P Marsudi, expressed her condolences.

“I, on behalf of the Foreign Ministry, express the deepest condolences for the death of Ambassador Alexander Litaay,” said Retno.

Retno added that Alexander Litaay was assigned in Croatia on March 2016.

Alexander Litaay passed away in Dubrava Hospital, Zagreb, Croatia. He had suffered cardiac problem and stroke since April 23, and been comatose since April 25. The senior politician of the National Democratic Party of Struggle was married to a wife and with 3 kids.
