BKPM: U.S. Investors Eye Constructing, Mineral Processing Sector

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BPKM) Franky Sibarani said  a number of companies from the United States have expressed their interest to make investment in construction and mineral processing in Indonesia.

According to Franky, companies in the field of construction and mineral processing in United States are planning to diversify their businesses.

He added one of the companies in the field of construction also plans to participate in infrastructure projects that are currently being developed in Indonesia.

"Outward investment of the United States is the highest, but its realization to Indonesia is still fairly small," Franky said in a written statement on Saturday (25/6).

However, Franky is optimistic that the American investors’ interest in investing in Indonesia is getting bigger.
