TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Industry received a budget allocation of Rp3.1 trillion in the 2017 Local Budget Plan’s indicative benchmark, where the number is lower than the budget allocation of the Industry Ministry this year of Rp3.2 trillion.
“We are ready with that budget allocation, so we will continue to boost industrial growth,” Industry Minister Saleh Husin said in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to Saleh, with that budget condition, he will push the implementation and growth of priority programs to boost industrial growth.
One of them is the Growth and Zoning Industry Distribution Development Program, which received a budget allocation of Rp661.6 billion.
The allocation is the second largest after the Human Resource Industry Development and Management Support for the Ministry of Industy Program.
Therefore, Saleh expects industrial growth to be capable of becoming the primary supporter of economic growth.
