TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-PT Tempo Media Group held a discussion titled “Ngobrol @Tempo (Tempo Talks)” with a theme of “The Remuneration Governance: An Effort to Save the Banking Industry” at JS Luansa Hotel in South Jakarta.
“The event was a part of the commemoration of Tempo's 45th anniversary,” Tempo Media Group head of corporate communication Wahyu Muryadi said in a speech during the event on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Moderating the discussion was Tempo Media Group’s Business Development Manager Tomi Aryanto. Among speakers invited to the discussion was Irwan Lubis, Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) deputy commissioner for banking supervision.
The event was attended by Indonesia Banking School (IBS) Subarjo Joyosumarto and Bank BTN president director Maryono.
Wahyu added that Tempo was supported with various sponsors in preparing its 45th anniversary. For instance, Tempo and Microsoft held Hackathon in May 2016.
“And then pictures of 45 figures featured in Tempo magazine were displayed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s Terminal 2F.
Earlier, the OJK released a regulation on the implementation of remuneration governance for commercial banks. The regulation requires banks to implement good governance in connection with remunerations for board of directors, board of commissioners and employees.
