Sports Ministry Assigns Rp160 bn to Support PON

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Youth and Sports Ministry has allotted Rp160 billion budget to help accommodate transports in the National Sports Week (PON) XIX in West Java.

"The Central Government has prepared Rp160 billion for PON XIX in West Java. The budget will be used to accommodate transports. It cannot be disbursed today, but it will have to wait for the event to kick off," said Minister Iman Nahrawi.

He added that the ministry continues monitoring the preparation of PON XIX to ensure that all things related to the event run well.

"PB PON is responsible to monitor the preparation," he added.
