TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The High Court of Jakarta is waiting for the transfer of Jessica Wongso and the evidences from the investigator after it declared that the suspect’s case file has completed.

Head of Legal Information for the High Court of Jakarta Waluyo said Jessica will be detained at Pondok Bambu Penitentiary until the trial. “To avoid the suspect from escaping or eliminating the evidences,” Waluyo said on Thursday, May 26, 2016.

Jessica has been set as a suspect for the murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin on January 30, 2016. Mirna died in Olivier Cafe on Wednesday, January 6 after she drank coffee ordered by Jessica at the cafe. Lab result revealed that Wayan Mirna Salihin died from poisoning by a Vietnamese coffee she had consumed.

According to Article 139 of the Criminal Code, Jessica’s file has been submitted to the court and is estimated to go on trial next month.

Jessica has underwent four detention renewal periods since January 30. Her limit for detention will be on May 28. The suspected in the murder case of Wayan Mirna can be acquitted by law if the case file is incomplete.
