Uber Cup: Indonesia Draw Against South Korea in Quarter Finals

TEMPO.CO, Kunshan - Indonesia women’s team will face South Korea in the quarter finals of Uber Cup 2016 at Kunshan Sports Centre Badminton Hall, China, on Thursday at 7 p.m. local time or 6 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. The draw was held on Thursday night by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) at Kunshan Sports Centre Stadium.

Indonesia Uber team, ranked fifth in May 12, 2016, were the runners-up in Group C below the group leaders, Thailand.

Indonesia will face the winner between Denmark and Japan in the semifinals should they beat South Korea.

The Red and White team were the runners-up in Group C, netting two wins over Hong Kong and Bulgaria. Indonesia lost to Thailand in the group.

In the tie against Thailand, Indonesia scored two wins in the first women’s double, represented by Della Destiara Haris/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari, and the last women’s singles, Gregoria Mariska.
