50kg Meth Seized from Malaysian-Indonesian Drug Network

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has arrested eight members of Malaysian-Indonesian drug ring network and confiscated approximately 54kg of crystal meth along with 40,000 ecstasy pills.

"Those eight suspects are members of Malaysia-Palembang-Jakarta drug-trafficking network and were apprehended on Sunday, May 8, in Jakarta," said BNN Eradication Deputy Inspector General Arman Depari on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

The suspects are all Indonesian citizens and are currently undergoing investigation in BNN office, Cawang, East Jakarta.
