Spongebob, Kamen Rider Appears on Bandung Streets

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A number of cosplayers of famous movie characters such as Spongebob, Doraemon, Naruto, Hello Kitty, Masha and The Bear, Iron Man, and Kamen Rider show off their stuff on Bandung street corners on Friday, May 6, 2016.

They were seen around Jalan Asia Afrika-Merdeka Building and Jalan Sukarno (formerly Jalan Cikapundung Timur) in the second day of the long weekend. They have been crowded by local tourists for photograph.

"My children love Doraemon, so we instantly took a photograph together," said Reviyanto, a Jakartan having a holiday in Bandung.

"To take selfies with Naruto and Hello Kitty was really exciting," said Salsa, who is on a holiday with her friends from Bandung District.

Tourists who want to take selfies with the cosplayers only need to pay voluntarily.
