TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-PT Bank Mandiri is preparing Rp4 trillion of cash to anticipate the surge in demand of withdrawals from its customers in branch offices and ATMs during the long holiday on May 5-8, 2016.
In a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday, May 03, 2016, Bank Mandiri Company Secretary Rohan Hafas said the bank will distributed Rp1.8 trillion in cash to Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek), and Rp2.2 trillion to meet the needs outside of Jabodetabek, particularly in tourist destination sites.
“The company will be operating 148 branch offices in Indonesia on Friday, May 6, excluding five branch offices operating 24/7, specifically to provide currency exchange, hospital, and customs service,” said Rohan.
The five branch offices include Terminal 3 Airport, Tanjung Priok Enggano, Perumpel Tanjung Priok, Harapan Kita Hospital, and Hasan Sadikin Hospital.
