TEMPO.CO, Bogor-Transportation Ministry plans to operate mass transportation in Bogor and Tangerang after operating dozens of Transjabodetabek buses in two cities; Depok and Bekasi.
“We’re preparing Transjabodetabek bus with Bogor destination,” Director of Jabodetabek Transporation Planning and Development for the Transportation Ministry Suharto told Tempo on Wednesday, April 27.
Suharto said Transjabodetabek buses, which are already operating in Depok and Bekasi, will also be running in Bogor and Tangerang as the replacements of Busway Integrated Border Transport (APTB) which is currently still serving the passengers of Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.
The Transportation Ministry is temporarily preparing 50 Transjabodetabek buses to serve passengers from Bogor. “50 buses for the time being, but depends on the need on the road and it will be adjusted gradually,” said Suharto.
To realize the operation of Transjabodetabek in Bogor, the Transportation Ministry is currently coordinating with both regions. “We’re still coordinating with the Regional City Goverment, Bogor District, including Tangerang,” he added.
