TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - I Gusti Nyoman Wiratmaja Puja, director general of oil and gas at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, said that the realization of oil lifting in the first quarter of this year had reached the target set at 830,000 barrels per day in the 2016 State Budget.

“The average monthly realization was 835,000 per day. In January, the oil lifting realization stood at 819,000 barrels per day. In February the figure stood at 840,000 per day. In Mach, the oil lifting realization stood at 847,000 barrels per day,” Wiratmaja said in Jakarta on Friday, April 8, 2016.

The gas lifting realization in the first quarter of this year had also surpassed the target set at 7,825 cubic feet per day in the 2016 State Budget. The average gas lifting stood at 8,219 cubic feet per day.

“The realization of gas lifting was 105 percent of the target. This is good news,” Wiratmaja said.

In April, Wiratmaja predicted that the oil and gas lifting realization would continue to increase. Currently, the oil lifting realization stands at 841,000 barrels per day.

“So, [the oil lifting realization in] April does not drop. The gas lifting realization is 8,115 barrels per day, or 104 percent of the target,” He added.

Wiratmaja also revealed that the fuel sales figure stood at 11.7 million kiloliters.

“Pertamina managed to sell 10.6 million kiloliters [of fuel], and other companies sold 1.1 million kiloliters. [The sales figure] for LPG was 1.6 million metric tons.
