TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Indonesian government is sending two batik artisans from Yogyakarta to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to introduce Indonesian batik to the country.

The Foreign Ministry said in its official website on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 that the two batik craftsmen, Suharyanto and Gamal Bya, will exhibit technique and philosophy of Indonesian batik to the people of the country at the Doris McKie Resource Center in Cane Hall, Kingstown in April, 2016.

  

The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has showed its interest towards Indonesian batik crafting, as the country to start introducing their own architectural paintings of cultural heritage to the international world.
