TEMPO.CO, Bandung - West Java provincial government said that so far, it has produced 60,000 new entrepreneurs from the targeted 100,000 entrepreneurs.
It also said that the aim of producing new entrepreneurs is to improve the prosperity of the people and the province’s economy.
"Through the 100,000 new entrepreneurs program, the West Java province continues to produce new entrepreneurs in order to strengthen the province’s economy,” said West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan in Bandung on Sunday.
Ahmad also said that the province has set of target of creating 20,000 new entrepreneurs in the province through the program.
He added that those new entrepreneurs must also be given training and education in order to be able to compete in the industries.
