TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo, President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's spokesman, said that until today, there are no signs of follow up actions related to Jokowi’s plan on reshuffling the cabinet.
"It's the President's domain, so he is the only person who knows [about the reshuffle]," Johan said at the State Palace on Monday, March 21, 2016.
Jokowi had been showing signs of carrying out a reshuffle in the past weeks, including when the President visited the bonded area in Cakung, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
In addition o the reshuffle, Jokowi also planned to evaluate his ministers’ performance following the recent dispute between several ministries in relation to the government’s policy.
Johan however, said that performance evaluation does not necessarily result in a reshuffle. In addition, Johan said that it is normal if the President's decided to evaluate his ministers’ at some point. Nevertheless, Johan did not reject the possibilities of a reshuffle.
"Again, as I said, let the President decide," Johan said.
