Jakarta to Cover Repatriation Costs for Prostitutes in Kalijodo

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - "Most prostitutes in Kalijodo do not have Jakarta ID card. We will repatriate them," said Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, at City Hall, Thursday (2/11).
According to him, most of them is not staying but also not going home. After the crackdown, they will be repatriated.
"The pimp did not stay, only the sex workers. Moreover, they have no Jakarta ID card," he disclosed.
He asserted the Jakarta Administraton does not provide compensation.
