Total Solar Eclipse Can be Seen via Video Streaming: BMKG

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) will observe the total solar eclipse on March 9, 2016. BMKG Chief, Andi Eka Sakya, said that the observation is made to gain information on magnet and gravity intereference caused by the eclipse.
“We will also record the event," he said Thursday, February 11, 2016.
BMKG will observe the eclipse in Ternate, Palu, Tanjung Pandan, and Bengkulu. The gravity observation will take place in Palu, while magnet observation will take place in Palu, Manado, Kupang, Jayapura, Tangerang, Tuntungan, Mount Sitoli, and Liwa.
Moreover, BMKG will provide a streaming video showing the event for those who cannot see it directly in site. “It will be available on our website,” said Andi.
