TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Economic growth in Central Java in 2015 is recorded to be at 5.4 percent, slightly higher than the number recorded in 2014, which was 5.3 percent. Jam Jam Zamachsyari, Chief of Distribution Statistics at the Central Java Statistics Agency, said that the highest growth occurred in the services sector, with a total growth of 9.7 percent.
"In terms of expenses, the highest growth was achieved by the gross fixed capital formation of 5.2 percent," Jam Jam said in a statement on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
Along Q4 of 2015, Central Java economy recorded 6.1 percent growth compared to the same quarter of 2015, which was 5.6 percent. However, compared to Q4 of 2014, the number is 2.6 percent lower.
