Rain to Fall during Lunar New Year in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has predicted that during Lunar New Year, it will be raining in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) with light and medium intensity.

However, during the day, Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta and Bekasi will be cloudy while rain will fall in Depok, Tangerang and Bogor.

Cloudy weather will continue in several locations, such as Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta and East Jakarta while other locations in Jakarta will experience light to medium intensity of rain.

BMKG recorded temperature of Jakarta is between 23 and 33 degrees Celsius with the humidity between 65 and 95 percent.

Besides Jabodetabek, other large regions Indonesia are also predicted to experience light to medium rain. Several regions will be cloudy, such as Banda Aceh, Samarinda, Ternate, Sorong, Manokwari and Kupang.
