Rp540 Billion Prepared for Semanggi Flyover

TEMPO.CO, JakartaJakarta Provincial Government hands over Semanggi Flyover construction to private side, as compensation considering they have increased their building’s Building Floor Coefficient (KLB). Predictably, its construction will spend Rp540 billion.

According to Yusmada Faizal, Head of Jakarta Bina Marga Department, the construction was handed over to Mori Company, which is a Japanese Company. They have increased the KLB from 7 becomes 14. As compensation, they have to pay Rp570 billion.

Yet, Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, wanted it is replaced with Semanggi Flyover construction.

“If the compensation is Rp570 billion, while RAB (Budget Plan) calculation was set about Rp540 billion for constructing Semanggi Flyover,” said Yusmada, Saturday (2/6).

He added, after construction is done, his side will ask appraisal team to estimate the flyover price that has been built. While the cost shortage, will be required for public facility construction.

Contract is targeted to be signed on February. And the groundbreaking will be conducted in the upcoming April.

“To study the design will take two months and its groundbreaking falls in April. The sooner is better thing,” he expressed.

Yusmada assessed auction, contract agreement and construction is managed by such company. His side only does supporting during construction takes place. It is targeted to be complete in the upcoming 2017.

“This uses design and built system. And now it has entered physic auction,” he closed.
