770 People Affected by Dengue Fever in Bogor; 2 Infants Die

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - During this year’s rainy season, at least 770 people in Bogor Regency have been affected by dengue fever and two infants had died.
"Our officials are still making a record of dengue fever patients that are treated at our hospital. There are now around 230 patients and two infants have died,” said Public Relation Officer of Cileungsi regional hospital doctor Desriza to Tempo on Friday (5/2).
According to Desriza, the surge in the number of patients treated at the hospital has made all wards at the hospital full and the hospital had to add the number of beds.
"We may not reject all dengue fever patients that come to our hospital," she added.
For the record, patients are treated at Cileungsi regional hospitals are mostly from Cileungsi, Jonggol, Kelapanunggal, Cariu and Sukamakmur.
It is reported that at least 770 residents affected by the dengue fever in Bogor Regency are being treated in a number of regional hospitals like Ciawi hospital (196 people) or Cileungsi hospital (230 people, 2 people die) Bogor hospital (141 people) and Cibinong hospital (116 people).
