TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Dengue fever patients in Regional Hospital (RSUD) Koja, North Jakarta climbs 10 percent.
Ade Saranti, Inpatient Installation Head, admitted there are 24 dengue fever patients treated in the hospital.
“The number is 10 percent higher compared to last year. But we can still handle it well,” she said, Friday (2/5).
Due to overload patients, beds in the hospital are inadequate to accommodate them. Previously, hospital management had added the beds. Some of the patients must be treated in emergency room. Ade said that her side will not refuse new patients.
“Based on governor’s instruction, all patient must be treated well. 95 percent of our patients have joined BPJS,” she added.
