Lampung`s Bakauheni-Terbanggi Toll Road Ready to be Built

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Provincial Government of Lampung is accelerating land acquisition process for Trans Sumatra Bakauheni-Terbanggi toll road so that its construction will be completed on time.
“We are communicating with the ministry to accelerate payment for land acquisition,” Lampung Governor M. Ridho Ficardo said Thursday, February 4, 2016.
Ridho says the land acquisition process is going very well, where 45km of 140km has received complete payment.
“The payment is made through the Public Works Ministry,” he said.
The provincial government has urged the ministry to immediately resolve the land acquisition issue.
The construction and land acquisition of Trans Sumatra toll road will include three districts, 18 sub-districts, and 70 villages.
It will be done by four state-owned enterprises include PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP), Waskita Karya, Adhi Karya, and Wijaya Karya.
The project of the 400km Trans Sumatra toll road is aimed to be completed in June 2018 or before Asian Games 2018 is held.
