Showers to Persist into the Evening across Jakarta: BMKG

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that Greater Jakarta residents should be cautious for light showers throughout Wednesday morning, February 3, 2016, with chances of a drizzle highest across South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, and Tangerang.
Residents of Central and West Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, however, should expect heavy precipitation that might persist well into the afternoon - while overcast skies has been predicted over Bogor.
Shower intensity is expected to continue to increase as Wednesday progresses, around Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, and Tangerang, while in Bekasi and Bogor, overcast skies are expected to turn into moderate showers. Some relief will come in the afternoon for North, West, and South Jakarta, as well as the Thousand Islands, as showers are predicted to begin receding.
Showers are also expected to last into the evening, continued BMKG - but residents do not need to be too aware because only light showers have been forecasted for Central, South, East and West Jakarta in the evening.
