TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Wiko Mobile will enliven tablet phone or phablet market in Indonesia by releasing Wiko Pulp Fab.
“Phablet market is actually not that big, but we want to educate the market. We also want to provide other options for users,” Wiko Mobile Indonesia CEO Dwi Lingga Raya said in Jakarta on Friday, January 29, 2016.
Pulp Fab comes with a 5.5-inch display with HD 1280x720 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM.
The handset supports Dual-SIM card with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, and 2,820mAh battery.
Chief Sales Officer Wiko Mobile Indonesia Sung Khiun said that the company’s market targets are employees, students, and entrepreneurs. It is also an alternative for those who seek a device with a high performance large display.
Particularly, for students who love gaming, the device can be connected to a mouse supporting OTG.
Sung also said that the latest French-owned phablet is equipped with smart gesture technology that allows users to easily activate the device through certain gestures, for example by writing the letter “C” on the screen to automatically be connected with the camera function.
The handset also features floating video player allowing users to enjoy video while doing other activities simultaneously on the device.
Pulp Fab is available in two colors; white and black, and is priced at Rp1,899,000.
