Mujahidin’s installation arts carry themes about religions and terrorism. He made a half-closed room that looks like a small mushalla with candles hanging on its ceiling. Among the candles, there is a figure of human wearing mask.
Mujahidin has been focusing such issues, especially world’s perception toward Islam since 2010. The graduates of Bandung Institute of Technology uses variety of medium for his works, but mostly he uses paper as the main medium.
His interest toward Arabic ornaments and patterns is used to hide image of violences. Mujahidin’s installation room becomes a metaphor for contemplation site to find values that hide behind many symbols and events related to religions and God.
