TEMPO.CO, Denpasar - After explosions at Sarinah-Jakarta, Bali Regional Police Department immediately secured vital objects including airports, consulates and a number of tourism sites.
“We’re coordinating with the Governor and Regional IX Udayana Military Commander to ensure that the situation in Bali remain safe and conducive,” Chief of Regional Police Department, Inspector General Sugeng Proyanto said Thursday, January 14, 2016.
So far, there is neither indication nor intelligence report leading to a terrorist act. However, Sugeng urged society to stay cautious especially those that are in hotels, restaurants and night clubs.
Securities are being intensified throughout area in Bali besides Denpasar, like in Gilimanuk, Jembrana, and Padang Bai. The police will add personnel in every police post in the locations since particularly the attack in Jakarta was occurred at a police post.
