Grand Tjokro Hotels Opens Branch in East Kalimantan

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Grand Tjokro Hotels Indonesia is opening a hotel branch in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

Operational Director of Grand Tjokro Hotels Indonesia Asteria T Hesty said the opening of the 4-star hotel in Balikpapan is the 7th hotel.

“We have just opened the hotel on December 17, 2016 with 185 rooms in Bandung.  We also have several hotels located in Klaten, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Pekanbaru and Bandung,” Asteria said at a Grand Tjokro Hotels Balikpapan media conference on Tuesday, January 12.

The hotel plans to open its 8th hotel in Samarinda, Kalimantan.

“We plan to open a new hotel in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The groundbreaking was conducted last year, hopefully it could be inaugurated directly by Samarinda Mayor this year,” she said.
