TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-The Directorate General of Bina Marga of the Public Works and Housing Ministry has auctioned 90.5 percent work packages for the 2016 allocated budget.
Road Network Development Director Subagiono says currently the 1,530 work packages worth Rp 26.85 trillion have been auctioned.
“We expect the contract (January 2016) could immediately be signed,” Subagiono said in his office on Monday, November 30.
Those 1,530 packages are a combination of the first, second, third and forth auction phase. For December, there are still around 300 work packages.
From Bina Marga’s Rp 45 trillion allocated budget, the work project auctioned is worth Rp 39.6 trillion, where Rp 15 trillion is included in the allocation which is not accounted for auction including employee expense, goods expense, toll road land procurement as well as routine maintenances for roads and bridges.
Bina Marga Director General Hediyanto W. Husaini estimated about 300 packages remaining worth Rp 2.8 trillion for the fifth phase that have not been auctioned.
Hediyanto say there will be a simultaneous contract signing on January 6 2016 done in each location that represents each region including Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Papua.
Bina Marga’s auction consist national road construction, bridges, and toll roads financed by the government from state funds.
