TEMPO.CO, Kuala Namu, Medan -Around 150 passengers of Lion AirJT305 on the Banda Aceh-Jakarta route were left neglected in Kuala Namu Airport, North Sumatra, when their plane had technical problems. Instead of transporting passengers of the fated plane, the substitute aircraft was used to carry other delayed passengers.

"Since [we] departed from Banda Aceh, Lion Air, forced us to take the non-functional plane. So [we] only reached Kuala Namu," said one of neglected passengers of JT305, Teuku Rizky Sunandarsyah, to Tempo, Sunday, November 29.

According to Rizky, JT305 he took was supposed to depart from Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Banda Aceh, at 16.30 WIB that afternoon. But it was delayed with operational as its excuse and took off at 19.00 WIB.

The plane then landed on Kuala Namu with operational as their excuse at 20.00 WIB. "We are promised that there will be a substitute plane when [we] landed," said Rizky. It turned out it was functioned to carry other passengers who suffered plane delay first to Jakarta. "It's like a domino effect," he stated.
