TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chairman of the National Demography and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) Surya Chandra Surapaty said the government in January 2016 was set to launch the KB Kampung (Family Planning Village) program.
"For the venues of the launching of the program, the first regions selected are Pangandaran and Cirebon in West Java,” Surya said on Friday (27/11).
He also said that later on, every province, regency and city would have family planning villages and the targets are residential areas with a high population.
Surya further said that the family planning village program was part of the family-based mental revolution and the budgets for the program would be taken from the State Budget.
