TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-State oil company Pertamina has opened procurement tender of crude oil and fuel product to meet demands in the first semseter of 2016. The registration of tender participants has been opened since Monday, November 23.
“The tender is for February-June 2016 supply period,” Pertamina Vice President for Integrated Supply Chain Daniel Purba said on a sideline of Pertamina Energy Forum on Wednesday, November 25.
Daniel explained that the company would conduct the validation process for administration requirements. However, Daniel refused to specify oil, fuel and LPG volumes to be procured. Daniel said that Pertamina’s demand on oil and gas would depend on market supplies and demands.
Daniel added that Pertamina would be transparent in conducting the tender and publish all tender plans on Pertamina’s official website. Daniel said that Pertamina aimed to attract more companies, in a bid to gain competitive prices.
Daniel admitted that the company made profits as a result of competitive procurements. Pertamina managed to reduce MOPS 92 price minus US$1.3 per barrel for Mogas 88 imports.
“We will try our best to get the best prices for the first semester of 2016,” he said.
