TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) wants the Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) to be built in Panggang Island, South Seribu Islands.
Currently, the regency administration is looking for a land for the construction.
Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo stated as mandate of the Governor, his party is trying to communicate with some land owners in the island.
"We're coordinating with urban village and sub-district heads to find green open space. We know in the island there is no worthy place for children to play. So governor's choice is right," he expressed, Tuesday (10/13).
According to Budi, children quality in the island would be increased by itself if RPTRA is built there. "Citizens awareness is the important one. It could be useful for their children," he disclosed.
Not only looking for a land, the government is also planning to repair infrastructures and facilities in the island. "We will also widen the road," he closed.
