TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Grosir Bersama (GroBer) is cooperating with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) in running its business.
“We are one of the participants in the Indigo Apprentice Award (IAA) 2015, thus earning an acceleration program with Telkom and cooperates with Telkom to target Small-Medium Enterprises (SME) throughout Indonesia,” said Dwi Hastoto, 42-year-old Founder and CEO Grosir Bersama.
In September 30, GroBer and Telkom has signed an MoU in Makassar to open a branch in the Eastern part of Indonesia. These branches will assist SMEs in the region. We also invite information technology activists in Makassar to assist in its operation,” said Dwi.
This year, GroBer launched a Mobile App for merchants and customers and will be registered in Play Store in October 2015, to facilitate store owners in managing their products online. The product data uploaded by store owners will directly be synchronized to GroBer website.
“The next target is adding the number of merchants to 8,000 stores and increase this year’s sales to 6 percent per week from 5 percent per week last year,” said Dwi.
According to Dwi, the merchants that have joined GroBer are still dominated by merchants at Blok A and B as well as Metro Tanah Abang.
