Ade/Wahyu became the first to break into the semifinal after beating Thailand’s Puavaranukroh Dechapol/Kedren Kittinupong 21-18, 14-21 dan 21-14 in 45 minutes. Angga/Ricky then joined their compatriot after crushing Japan’s Takuto Inoue/Yuki Kaneko in straight set 21-15 21-7.
Finally, Kevin/Marcus cruises into the semifinal after a 25-minute match against Hong Kong’s Or Chin Chung/Tang Chun Man 21-9, 21-15.
“We played attack from the beginning. We were also in our best condition to play so that we had always shot in. As our confident built up, our opponent could not develop their game,” Kevin said as quoted on Indonesian Badminton Federation (PBSI)’s release received by Antara on Friday.
