Waskita Appoints 3 Guarantors and Issues Rp 1.5T Bond

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya assured that it will continue to issue a bond worth Rp 1.5 trillion in the near future, officials said Wednesday, September 9.

Waskita CEO Muhammad Choliq say the company has appointed three guarantors to operate the bonds.

“The guarantors include Danareksa Sekuritas, Mandiri Sekuritas and Bahana Securities,” Choliq said amid the groundbreaking of LRT on Wednesday. The publishing will either be this month or October.

Choliq says the company will use the bond to fund the toll road project.

Next year, Waskita will be constructing 12 toll roads measuring a distance of more than 500km. Those toll roads inlcude Depok-Antasari, Kuala Namu-Tebing, and Solo-Ngawi-Kertosono.

As for bond tenor, the company has not decide on a certain time period.

“All depends on the market with a minimum of three years,” he said.
