TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The city of Bekasi, situated between the Capital Jakarta to the west and an industrial zone to the east, is a strategic location for investment in properties, according to a developer.

"Bekasi is located between Jakarta and Cikarang industrial zone in Bekasi regency, making Bekasi a strategic area,” said President Director of PT Triputri Natatama, a property developer company from Binakarya Group, Leonardi Setiawan, in Bekasi on Saturday, September 5.

In addition to its strategic location, Leonardo said that another investment magnet od the city lies in the price of the land there, in which the value continued to rise in recent years.

"Last year, the average price of land in Bekasi was only Rp. 9 million per meter and this year, some reaches Rp. 13 million per meter," he added.

Leonardo added that the distance to Jakarta that can be reached in 30 minutes is also another factor that makes Bekasi attractive for property investors.
