TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- Juventus has announced Indonesian-born goalkeeper, Emilio Audero Mulyadi, to join their Champions League squad. Juventus.com wrote that Emilio will join other players in the Champions League campaign, in which Juventus will face Borussia Moenchengladbach, Manchester City, and Sevilla in group league D.
Emilio Audero Mulyadi was born in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, on January 18, 1997. Emilio’s is the son of Edy Mulyadi, an Indonesian citizen, with an Italian mother.
Emilio spent his childhood in Indonesia, before moving to Italy in 2010. He then joined Juventus U-17, in which he earned the title of The Young Italy Talents of The Future 2012. Emilio has also scored caps for Italian Squad U-15 to U-18.
In 2014, Juventus brought Emilio in their Asia-Pacific tour, which include Indonesia. “I am proud to be a part of that experience,” he said.
