TEMPO.CO, Depok - Depok Transporation Agency is set to operate Trans-Jabodetabek buses in Depok in the next two weeks at the latest.
Head of Depok Transportation Gandara Budiana said that there are technical obstacles that caused the delay of the buses’ operation in the city. However, he said that the agency had coordinated with PPD to address the issue.
"This week or next week, the buses will be operated. There were technical problems. However, it’s not because there are not special buses stop for the buses yet,” Gandara said on Saturday (29/8).
He went on to say that based on the agreement between Depok Transportation Agency and PPD as the operator of the buses, those Trans Jabodetabek buses could still operate although special bus stops are not available yet.
The buses, he added, can pick up and drop passengers from Depok bus station while waiting for the infrastructures to be provided.
For the record, the route of Trans Jabodetabek buses from begin from Depok integrated bus station, Jalan Juanda, Cijago-Jagorawi toll road, UKI exit point and, is then connected to the Trans Jakarta bus lane in Jakarta.
