TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Xiaomi introduces two new wide-screen smartphones Redmi Note 2 and Redme Note 2 Prime in Beijing on Friday, August 28. Both phones are tagged with super affordable prices which is US$125 (Redmi Note 2) and US$155 (Redmi Note 2 Prime).
The phablets are available in five different pastel colors including black, white, yellow, blue and pink. Redmi Note 2 comes with 2 gigahertz MediaTek processor called Helio X10. It has 16 gigabyte storage capacity and 2 gigabyte RAM. The Prime variant comes with higher specs including 2.2 gigahertz processor speed and 32 gigabyte storage capacity. Both have 5.5 inch wide screen.
This time, Xiaomi put on removable 3,060 mAh battery and microSD slot. The microSD slot was not exist in Xiaomi Mi 4.
Xiaomi will only market the new phablets in China at the initial stage before release it to the international market later.
