TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Musician Djaduk Ferianto appreciates the welcome of spectators in Frankfurt, Germany, which is remarkable after seeing the performance of artists and musicians at the opening of Museums Uferfest Indonesia, Friday.
"I was surprised, the people here turned out to be amazingly enthusiastic audiences. This means that the German people appreciated our friends’ work," he said in Frankfurt on Saturday, August 29, responding to the welcome from the local community to the appearance of the musicians and artists in the arena Museums Uferfest or Festival at the Banks of the Main River. At the opening of the event, along with his band Djaduk Kua Etnika appeared to enliven the event which was opened by the Mayor of Frankfurt Peter Feldmann and accompanied by the Indonesian Ambassador to Germany Fauzi Bowo.
Besides Djaduk, appeared also Barong Banyuwangi, Dwiki Dharmawan and friends, singer Bonita, Dira Sugandi, Mian Tiara, and rapper J-Flow.
