TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama asked PT Penjamin Kredut Daerah (Jamkrida), or Regional Insurer, which officially operating on Friday (8/28) to offer credit to Micro and Small Business Enterprise (UMKM).
He acknowledged as Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Department have no any legal protection to channel fund amounted Rp400 billion to micro and small business practitioners.
“I expect, PT Jamkrida can ease business practitioner to get credit access,” he said when inaugurated PT Jamkrida Jakarta at City Hall.
The Jakarta-owned company (BUMD) was established in accordance with Bylaw No.13/2013.
“We can give you credit amounted Rp5 million for one trader as long as there is a guarantee. We have all now we can run it,” he added.
President Director of PT Jamkrida Jakarta, Chusnul Ma’arif conveyed that his side get an initial capital for Rp400 billion. The majority of capital owned by City Administration amounted Rp 95 percent and the rest of it owned by PD Pasar Jaya.
“The composition of share ownership shows that City Administration take sides on guidance, development and growth in capital,” he expressed.
