The Director General of Marine and Fishery Resource Supervision Asp Burhanudin said those six vessels were caught in the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone, South China Sea, along Anambas waters, Riau Island.  “They were arrested for violations of the law,” Asep told Tempo on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The vessels were arrested by Hiu Macan 005 Surveillance Vessel in Aug. 1 for not having a fishing permit from the Indonesian government.
