Suzuki Indomobil to Introduce new Cars During Automotive Expo

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) plans to introduce two of its latest cars, the Suzuki Ciaz and New Ertiga, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Show (GIIAS) on August 20 to August 31 2015.

"Visitors can directly order those cars [during the event]," said 4W Managing Director PT SIS Davy.

The Suzuki Ciaz was initially introduced in India, China and Thailand. According to Makmur, Marketing Director of PT SIS the Suzuki Ciaz will replace the Suzuki New Baleno, which is no longer manufactured in the Indonesia. In Thailand the Suzuki Ciaz comes equipped with a 1,250cc engine.

Davy said that the company's decision to launch the Suzuki Ciaz was aimed at expanding the market for Suzuki sedans into the global level. Davy expressed his optimism that the demands for Ciaz in some countries, including China and the US will be high.
