TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police has named another suspect in a graft case surrounding the lengthy dwelling time at Tanjung Priok Port on Thursday, July 30, 2015, namely inactive director general for foreign trade Partogi Pangaribuan.
“We will conduct investigation into the fund flows. There are several people that will be questioned as witnesses and could be named as suspects,” Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Police Muhammad Iqbal at his office.
Iqbal added two evidences leading to Partogi were the fund flows to certain people and witness testimony. However, Iqbal shortstopped to explain the case further, adding that those people could be named as suspects.
Iqbal confirmed that Partogi’s subordinates with the initials R, C and director of imports Thamrin Latuconsina will be questioned as witnesses on Friday, July 31, 2015.
Earlier, a special taskforce supervised by Jakarta Police’s general crime director Sr. Comr. Krishna Murti, special crime director Sr. Comr. Mujiono and Tanjung Priok Port police chief AKBP Hengky Haryadi seized US$42,000 from R’s desk. R testified that the money belonged to his superior, Partogi.
