TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday, July 30, 2015, will examine the Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Trade, Partogi Pangaribuan, as witness in the bribery case of port loading and unloading of goods.
Partogi will be examined to explain the findings of cash at the amount of USD 42 thousand (Rp 565.5 million) and SGD 4000 (Rp 39.4 million) during the search in his office on Tuesday.
Jakarta Police Director General of Criminal Investigations, Commissioner of Krishna Murti, said the money was found in a bag belonging to section chief of staff by the name of Ronal. He said the money belongs to Partogi.
In addition to the money confiscated in the raids police seized licensing documents. Partogi was still at large and said to be travelling to the United States for medical treatments.
Police have named and arrested three suspects in the case.
