TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Three days after its launching, customers have appeared to welcome Pertalite (RON 90) in Surabaya. Based on three-day market test on July 24 to 26, Pertalite distribution in 33 gas stations in East Java reached 140,327 liters.
“This means that Pertalite has got positive reviews from consumers,” said Assistant Manager of External Relations at Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) V, Heppy Wulansari, on Monday July 27.
Heppy explained that Pertamina will continue endorse Pertalite during market test. She also said that Pertalite will not affect Pertamax as Pertamina’s non-subsidized product. “Pertamax sale in the 33 gas stations remained normal,” she said. “Consumers begin shifting from Premium to Pertalite.”
Moreover, Heppy said that Pertamina MOR V will continue monitoring Pertalite supply in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, and Mojokerto. Pertalite is the newest variant of non-subsidized fuel, expected to provide more options for consumers.
