TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 7,700 newcomers are predicted will stay in South Jakarta post Eid al-Fitr. In order not to cause a trouble in future, Binduk Operation will be held on D+21.
"The operation is purposed to record the newcomers. If the documents required are complete, and they already have job and house in Jakarta, then we will simplify them in making of ID Card," said Head of South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department, Sapto Wibowo, Sunday (7/26).
According to Wibowo, his sub-department office will involve Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) personnel, Employment and Transmigration Sub-Department, and the local urban village and sub-district heads in this operation.
Wibowo said, for the beginning step, the operation will be conducted in Pejaten Timur, Kebayoran Lama, Pasar Minggu, Pesanggrahan, and Jagakarsa Urban Village.
Previously, both Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama and the Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidajat do not mind if there are indeed citizens outside of Jakarta who want to come to the city.
"There is no prohibition for citizens outside of Jakarta to try for a fortune," expressed Djarot.
